Jean Keenan, Executive Director of Life-Work Planning Center, celebrates 20 years with the organization!
With the commitment of many excellent staff and board members, as well as interns, Life-Work Planning Center has been recognized for its excellence many times during Jean’s tenure.
In 2007, the organization was recognized by Minnesota State University’s Office of Institutional Diversity for our work with the Latino community in South Central Minnesota.
In 2009 Jean was an award recipient for her commitment to continuous improvement from South Central Workforce Partners.
In 2011 the agency was recognized by the Minnesota Women’s Consortium for Exceptional Achievement for Economic Justice.
In 2019 Life-Work Planning was the recipient of the Hope Interfaith Center Peace Pole; recognizing the agency’s tireless commitment to equity, peace and prosperity for marginalized women.
That same year the organization was the grateful recipient of the Zonta Centennial Community Award in recognition of our work to honor and empower women in our community.
Most recently in 2020 Jean was recognized as a Woman of Distinction during the YWCA, Mankato annual event.
