OFFICE MANAGER
This is a part-time (25-32 hrs. wkly) position, funded through the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), private foundations, and area United Ways/Funds.
The responsibilities of this position include providing office support to staff and director to ensure that the organization’s information, & administrative systems are efficient. General clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, data entry, and filing, coordinating, and maintaining records for staff.
The mission of Life-Work Planning Center is to increase the emotional and economic self-sufficiency of women and their families.
Position requires a strong team player who is very organized as well as having excellent written and telephone communication skills. Position also requires strong computer skills including knowledge of Access, Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Constant Contact.
Requires personal vehicle and clear criminal background check.
General Duties Include:
- Perform general receptionist duties including greeting participants and answering phones.
- Provide administrative support for Director and other staff members. Includes word processing, filing, copying and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
- Key operator for computer systems. Includes minor repairs, and training staff in operations/applications of various software.
- On-going organizational efforts to improve time and cost effectiveness.
- File maintenance and review for necessary information required by state in conjunction with other staff in capacity as compliance designee.
- Design, lay-out and generate mail merge for printing of quarterly newsletter.
- Design, lay-out and distribute quarterly e-newsletter.
- Update and maintain LWPC website & other social media as developed.
- Maintain mass mailing/membership/fundraising lists.
- Work in conjunction with Fiscal Manager to generate materials needed to ensure fundraising events run smoothly (phonathons: donation cards, past donation information, caller/mailing lists and response cards).
- Work in conjunction with staff to create and distribute Annual Report for LWPC.
- Work with Director on data analysis and completing required reports.
- Manage designated program data and data entry in State systems.
- Cross-train w/ Fiscal Manager to learn LWPC procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Ideal candidate will be familiar with bookkeeping procedures and software.
Salary range of $20.65 per hour to $21.00 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience. Benefits include paid holidays, generous PTO, and employer matched retirement funds.
