Thanks to Otto Bremer Trust, Life-Work Planning Center is receiving $14,000 to be used to provide services to women in transition.
It is the goal of Life-Work Planning Center’s Women in Transition program to help participants achieve a level of personal confidence and empowerment that will move them towards lasting self-sufficiency, as well as helping them to acquire the skills necessary to conduct a successful job search so that they can adequately provide for themselves and their children in the future.
The Otto Bremer Trust is investing in people, places and opportunities in the upper Midwest. The mission of the Otto Bremer Trust is based on the intent of its founder, Otto Bremer to strive to make measurable and meaningful impact for positive change in communities throughout Minnesota, North Dakota and western Wisconsin.
In the spirit of Otto Bremer’s intentions, the foundation is open to a variety of requests while giving highest priority to opportunities with the potential to move a community forward in meaningful, powerful and broad-based ways.
Life-Work Planning Center is the only pre-employment program in the Region Nine Area designed specifically to meet the unique barriers of women in transition and displaced homemakers. We are available to help residents throughout Region Nine.
Life-Work Planning Center is grateful for this partnership which brings the opportunity for positive change for area women and their families.
