Life-Work Planning Center would like to give a hearty thanks and thunderous applause to our recent intern, Avalon Luehman, who has completed her internship and will now be graduating from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work and Gender and Women’s Studies, and a certificate in nonprofit leadership. Avalon’s next step on her life journey will take her to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for a dual Master’s Degree in Social Work and Women and Gender Studies. During her time with Life-Work, Avalon enriched the lives of women in our program, and she will continue to do so through her creation of an empowering workshop for domestic violence survivors.
