Serving as self-sufficiency counselor and office manager has been a rewarding experience while contributing to the transformative experiences of our participants.
Much of my career has been devoted to advising international university students on cultural adjustment, and academic, personal and immigration matters. I also ran events so students could share their cultures and traditions with our Greater Mankato Community.
I enjoy learning about other cultures and countries – and mainly, hearing people’s stories – how they came to be where they are and the paths they want to pursue. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations and a Master of Arts degree in Intercultural Communication.
Life-Work Planning Center assisted me some years ago during a time of transition. I found the self-assessments and Strength | Balance | Self-Respect workshop series thought-provoking and useful. What a wonderful surprise that today I am part of the LWPC team, serving our clients and partners with such a compassionate and talented group of women!
Please know that we all experience times in life when we need a caring boost to reach our goals. All the best to you whether you have found your path or are searching for one. You’ve got this and Life-Work Planning Center is here for you!
