Life-Work Planning Center joined about 70 nonprofit organizations at the Mayo Clinic Health System Civic Center on April 16, 2024 to bring awareness of our services, network with our community partners, and meet current, past and future LWPC participants.

Project Community Connect is an annual event hosted by the Greater Mankato United Way and aims to reduce poverty, hunger and homelessness by bringing together community resources to a single location for one day.

The event was a barrier-free way for those who are struggling financially to access services. Residents of Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Le Sueur, Martin, Nicollet, Sibley, Waseca and Watonwan Counties attended. Providers in attendance represented medical, housing, employment, county financial assistance, food programs, disability, legal aid programs and chemical dependency services.
